Preparing for Camping Life!

We have friends that love to camp they have told us how much. We went to look around at some campers thinking we will just get a small one to pull with our SUV. After going in a few we figured a fifth wheel would work better for us. We thought we would invest in a fifth wheel to have some extra room and use it to live in while we are between building as well as use it for traveling. You can't pull a fifth wheel with an SUV and my sweet city boy has never owned a truck. My sweet man became a 1st time truck owner. So you have 2 that have never camped and a man who has never owned a truck this will be interesting! We may make America's funniest home videos!

We are excited and looking forward to this adventure but most of all we are looking forward to the memories we will make with family and friends. Time with those you love can never be replaced.

We have been trying to find a way to balance life and work which can be very hard to do at times. We work a lot wether it be our jobs, side jobs or just projects around our house. My husband is an architect so we build and sell. He loves a project, I love to decorate so we work together well! We both believe that if we can do something ourselves we should. That can be good and that can be bad. We have been trying to find the best of both worlds. We are not afraid of work and certainly don't mind working for the goals we hope to achieve. We do need to learn how to balance so we are not finding ourselves always working while life and moments with family and friends pass us by.

Any campers out there we welcome all the tips and advice you can give.
